Who is your guitar hero?

Many years ago, far too many than I care to admit, when I first picked up a guitar I was obsessed with Guns N’ Roses and Slash in particular. All I wanted to do was play solos from such tracks as ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’, ‘Estranged’, ‘Don’t Damn Me’ and, well frankly, all his amazing licks.

Since then my taste and style has developed and I like to think I have a rounded guitar playing style, especially with the demands of my job as a writer and live guitarist for many different artists in different genres.

BUT! I wanted to pay homage to the guitar god that is Slash- the living legend!
